We’re looking for a Senior Front End Engineer who is a self-starter and energized by working on a dynamic team. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Senior Front End Engineer Position Details

What You’ll Do

  • Work with Product to build new user-facing features that provide an easy-to-use UX and showcase a beautiful UI with a crisp look and feel.
  • Write tests for new features to support automation and a high level of confidence in changes with early feedback
  • Build a rich component library for cross-project usage to supply a consistent UX and easy to use api and DX across the organization
  • Migrate legacy functionality into our new domain as we sunset our old system
  • Optimizing our pipeline and project architecture to move towards continuous delivery and a smooth DX
  • Improving performance by profiling and tweaking
  • Collaborate and sometimes pair with teammates to work through challenging problems
  • Open-sourcing any non-trivial and non-IP-focused innovations that come out of our work on the product
  • Redefining best-in-class software development processes that allow our team and business to quickly adapt over time

What You Should Have

  • RESTful .NET (latest) backend utilizing vertical slice architecture and a rich domain driven foundation, backend by a robust suite of tests
  • React frontend with Tailwind CSS and Typescript, utilizing hooks for the composability of functionality
  • A dedicated suite of cypress tests for end-to-end testing
  • Postgres, Redis, and Dynamo DB on database side of things
  • Legacy PHP app that uses Code Ignitor (deprecated)
  • Hosted on AWS with k8s and terraformed IaC
  • GitHub, Slack, Confluence, YouTrack, TeamCity
  • Design system with React component library and storybook
