We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Manager who is a self-starter and energized by working on a dynamic team. This role reports to the VP of Engineering at our offices at ATDC in Atlanta, GA.

Senior Software Development Manager Position Details

What You’ll Do

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and lead an engineering team by recognizing, coaching and mentoring in best practices, delivery and quality

  • Set the vision and execute on our technology roadmap – collaborate with Product, DevOps and Data teams to envision and execute on practical and impactful technology

  • Work closely with Product to build, refine and execute on the product roadmap while providing critical feedback and driving for innovation

  • Develop a world class product focused on precision medicine in Oncology

  • Modeling our industry through Domain Driven Development

  • Integrate with 3rd party medical record systems including EMRs, labs, etc

What You Should Have

What you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred in computer science, engineering or related field, however self-taught engineers are welcome with equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

  • Been developing professionally for 5+ years

  • Experience with multiple languages and frameworks such as .NET Core, TypeScript and NodeJS

  • Experienced in creating testable software, implementing effective test patterns and frameworks

  • Have built ecosystems of REST APIs utilized by backend, web and mobile applications

  • Strong data modeling and SQL skills, our preferred relational database is PostgreSQL

  • Advanced knowledge of data structures, micro-service and API integration patterns

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or non-relational databases (K:V stores, document databases)
